This site is a brand site. Nothing is sold here, there are no accounts to create, and we run no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social tracking of any kind.

What we collect, and only when you send it

• The trade enquiry form on the bars page: your name, your business, your role, your email, your phone number, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply to you and to pass an order on to our distributor. That is all.
• The concept vote on the home page: which drink you picked, and a random number your browser makes up so the same browser cannot vote twice. It is not tied to you, your name or your email, and we could not identify you from it if we wanted to.

We do not buy, sell, rent or trade any of it, and we do not send marketing to a bar that only asked a question.

Who else touches it

• Netlify hosts this site and receives both forms. Like any host it also logs requests, including IP addresses.
• Netlify's spam screening. Before a submission reaches us Netlify checks it for spam, and Netlify's own documentation says that check uses Akismet, run by Automattic. So what you type into a form can pass through them on its way to us. We did not choose it separately and we cannot see it happen; it comes with the forms.
• Google Fonts serves the four typefaces this site uses, so your browser requests them from Google and Google sees your IP address. It is the only third party your browser itself contacts.

What your browser stores

No cookies. A few small values, kept in your own browser, readable by nobody but it:

• that you answered the age check, for this browsing session only;
• which concept you voted for, so the page can say so when you come back — one value for each vote, because the beer question and the soda question are asked separately;
• the random number above.

Clearing your site data removes every one of them.

Do Not Track

There is nothing here to track, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing about how this site behaves.

How long we keep it

A trade enquiry is kept while the conversation it belongs to is live, and while the distributor needs it to set an account up. After that it is of no use to us and we delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, whether or not the conversation is finished. A vote has nothing in it to keep: the only thing stored is a drink and a random string.

Artificial intelligence

There is no AI on this site. No chatbot, no assistant, nothing that makes a decision about you. An enquiry is read and answered by a person, and nothing you send is used to train anyone's model.

Seeing it, changing it, deleting it

Email dylan@the1926company.com and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that materially changes what we collect will be said plainly here rather than folded into the text.

Children

This site is for people of legal drinking age. It is not directed at anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
